Pope to make Apostolic Journey to Luxembourg and Belgium in September

The Holy See Press Office announces that Pope Francis will make an Apostolic Journey to Luxembourg and Belgium on September 26-29.

The Holy See Press announced on Monday, 20 May, that Pope Francis will visit Luxembourg and Belgium at the end of September 2024.

Pope Francis accepted the invitation of the Heads of State and Church authorities of both nations and will make an Apostolic Journey to Luxembourg on 26 September.

He will then travel to Belgium later in the day and stay there until 29 September, where visits to the cities of Brussels, Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve are planned. The full-schedule will be made available at a later date.

Earlier in the month of September, from the 2nd to 13th, the Pope will be travelling to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and Singapore for visits to those nations, which will be his longest-ever journey.
