Pope Leo XIV sent his “good wishes” to all those “associated with the Catholic Men’s Conferences in North America” in a telegram, signed by Cardinal Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin, for the Catholic Men’s Conference Day, which took place on October 17.

The Pope “hopes that through these gatherings” Catholic men will “be renewed in their desire to bring the love of Jesus to their families, parishes and wider communities through concrete gestures of closeness, compassion and respect for others, especially the poor and most vulnerable”. In this way “they will imitate the example of St. Joseph, the ‘just man’, who found happiness in the joyful and generous giving of himself”, the telegram reads.

Pope Leo “trusts that the various opportunities for prayer, reflection and fraternity organized every year by Men’s Conferences in the United States and Canada will always be occasions for the participants to be strengthened in the faith and in their relationship with the Lord”. He then entrusted all the participants to the intercession of the Virgin Mary and imparted his Apostolic Blessing.

Catholic Men’s Conference is a daylong event with various Catholic speakers which focuses on Mass, confession, adoration and fraternity and deepening and renewing one’s faith. The Catholic Men’s Conference Day takes place every year on October 17 and is a series of gatherings in various locations across North America that aims to inspire men to attend a Conference to then give back to their Churches and families.
