Among the first private audiences this Monday morning, Pope Francis met with the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovachevski.

The half-hour morning meeting between Pope Francis and Dimitar Kovachevski, President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, included fifteen minutes of private talks, according to the Holy See Press Office.

Among the gifts President Kovachevski brought to the Pope were a copy of part of the Eulogy of Clement of Ohrid and a filigree rosary with a pearl from Ohrid. Pope Francis offered gifts, including this year’s Message for World Peace Day and the Document on Human Fraternity.
